When Should You Get the Audi Service?

How often you get your Audi service depends on the fact of how you drive your car and what kind of driving style you follow. It also depends on the kind of service schedule you use. There are two kinds of service schedules that one could have:

Fixed Service Schedule
Flexible Service Schedule

Each one of the schedules has different recommendations, inspection services, and oil-changing services.

Fixed service schedule: This is recommended for those Audi cars that have travelled less than 30,000kms in a year and the travelling have been only within cities and towns, so mainly the travelling should be limited within the short distances of the city. The oil changing service should be fixed to 15,000kms every year. The inspection service, however, needs to be done every 30,000kms every two years. Audi service for your cars should be done by experienced mechanics.
Flexible service schedule: flexible service schedules are a bit different from fixed service schedules. This is recommended for those vehicles that travel up to a distance of more than 30,000kms per year and the travelling is not limited to small distances in the city. The oil changing service needs to be followed up for every 30,000kms every 2 years or so. The inspection service needs to be done for 30,000km every 2 years or so, similar to the oil changing service.

But whenever you are using your vehicle regularly, it is always recommended that you opt for the fixed Audi service schedules regardless of the mileage. If you have uneconomical driving styles where you use heavy acceleration as well as brakes quite frequently and a constant use of high revs then it is always recommended you go for the fixed service schedule. It is also recommended if you have high engine loading conditions where your vehicle is constantly doing rounds up and down the hills.
