Measuring your rolling blinds is easy. Just select the place where you want to install your made to order roller blinds and follow the below measuring steps. There are basically two ways to fit your roller blinds i.e. recess fitting and exact fitting.

Roller Blinds

In Recess Fitting, you must measure your recess as it should be large enough to place a roller blind (at least 65mm deep). Measure the recess horizontally at three positions, one at the top of your recess and another at the bottom and third at the one blind measure from the bottom measurement. The smallest of the three would be your recess width. Then measure recess in three places vertically one at the start and end of the recess and another at the middle of it. Smallest of three measurements would be your recess drop. Then note the side of the blind where you would like to place your blinds as you look towards it, whether left or right-hand side.

Another option is the Exact Fitting. Measure the recess horizontally at three positions, one at the top of your recess and another at the bottom and third at the one blind measure from the bottom measurement. The smallest of the three would be your recess width. Then measure recess in three places vertically one at the start and end of the recess and another at the middle of it. Smallest of three measurements would be your recess drop.  This time you need to include the overlap as well on all sides.

It is recommended to use metal tape to measure all the places as cloth stretches a lot. Also, always measure the width first and then the drop to avoid any kind of confusion.
